– Apply unscented moisturizer after you wash it, and whenever the tattoo seems dry.

– Always wash your hands before applying moisturizer.

– Keep it clean and moisturized for 2 to 4 weeks.

Things to avoid:

*No heavy drinking immediately after the tattoo.

*Working out in the first few days (If you get an arm tattoo, avoid arm workouts. Muscles expand when we work out, and can cause your fresh tattoo to tear.)

*Swimming or submersing tattoo in water (pools, ocean, lakes, hot tubs, etc.)

*Avoid clothes that will stick to the tattoo (ex. Wool) *Avoid super hot water *Sun (you don’t want to burn your healing tattoo)

*Keep sweat off (if your tattoo does get sweaty, clean it as soon as possible) If your tattoo scabs a bit, don’t worry, it’s normal. It’s why we moisturize them. Never pick, scratch or peel it. Even if it gets itchy, you must resist the urge.

*If you think your tattoo is infected, or isn’t healing properly, Contact us immediately and/or go see a doctor. In bc you can call 811.
